The Wheel - it was one of the most important inventions in the evolution of mankind. It made the struggle for survival a lot less harder. It made man shift places, escape from predators and cover a large area to search food.
But strangely the wheels were not used for transportation in the beginning. It was used for pottery, use of wheels for transportation only happened after 300 years.
Well I am no expert in history or in the study of human evolution, but wheels have always caught my attention. Anything that was round in shape was either used by me as a wheel or a steering wheel while I was growing up.
I come from the southern state of Kerala in India. I was born and brought up there. And in the 80s and 90s it was a past time to run behind a rolling tyre and more often than not it used to be a bicylce tyre. These were either taken from the scrapyard or given to you by a friend whose father own a bicycle repair shop. This was possible when I used to go my dad's family home which was more rural than where my family lived. Less vehicles on the road meant that we could use it for our leisure. Parents were less concerned too, they were happy that we ran around as long as we got back home for our meals.

When I was at my house apart from the studies I used to do a bit of Cricket abd Badminton. But when my friends were not around, I used to take a big round aluminium plate and consider it as a steering wheel and act as the driver of a bus. I remembered the route that we used to take to travel to my mom's and dad's family houses so well that I enacted as a driver who is driving in those routes.
Well I cant find an image that can describe this game better. I let you use your imagination and define this teen madness.
